We started offering it on anything over $150 just because of this exact shift. People would rather pay $40 a month than $400 today even if the math is worse for them long term.

Find someone local if you can. A mentor in the same market who knows your suppliers, your competition, your customer base is worth ten times more than generic business advice from someone in a different state.

Gotta stay small and lean right now. Industry is getting ripped apart by private equity companies pushing volume over quality and every tech leaving to start their own thing because employers treated them badly. Competition is stiff but there’s still great money if you’re smart about it. Stay specialized and stop trying to be everything to everyone.

Pulled to 500 on a job once, system failed with acid burnout 2 years later. Pulled to 300 on the next hundred jobs, no acid burnout. Correlation or causation? No idea. But I pull to 300 now.

Small shop here. I tried doing socials myself and it just fell apart after a few weeks. Once work picked up, posting was the first thing to die.
