Some people are going to disagree with me on this but I let one tech go every October and rehire in March. I know how that sounds. But I’m a small operation and carrying payroll through a dead January and February nearly ended me twice. The tech knows the deal, he finds winter work elsewhere, and he comes back every spring.

Quoted a job customer said they’ll think about it… then you see the same job done a week later by someone else. No feedback, no call back, nothing. Happens more than I’d like. Makes you wonder if it’s pricing, timing or just part of the game.

Most guys won’t even think about oil fouling unless it’s a burnout. Slow capacity loss just gets blamed on age.

That trap looks fine on paper but the lift on that pump might be borderline. Once it runs a few cycles it can’t overcome the head and starts backing up.

Been watching a drive that holds speed perfectly, airflow steady, no alarms – but torque keeps jumping around for no obvious reason.
Nothing mechanical sounds wrong, amps don’t really move, yet the torque trend looks like it has a mind of its own.
Hard to tell if it’s load-related, sensor noise, or something upstream feeding garbage into the drive.
