Not always. Expansion changes contact points. I’ve seen sheet metal grounds go soft only once everything’s hot.

You think it’s going to be simple, then once you start checking things properly you realize something isn’t adding up. Rushing through that kind of job just causes problems later, so good call letting the tech take the extra time instead of forcing it.

At first I thought it was just a normal airflow issue and fixing that would be enough, but once I started working on it I realized that was only a small part of the problem and the real issue is deeper in the layout and access.
