I work in digital marketing and I see this constantly in the trades. The most common reasons for suspension are address issues if you’re a service area business, keyword stuffing in your business name, or a competitor mass reporting you. Which one sounds most likely for your situation.

The increases are everywhere. Part of it is claims in the industry going up. Everyone has to pay for the guys who don’t do good work.

We spent money on website and ads and yeah it works, but it also costs. Referrals don’t cost anything and usually close easier. So it’s kind of a balance.

Finally picked up a micron gauge this week. Been in the trade 9 years and have been judging vacuum on the manifold needle the whole time like everybody else I learned from.
First job I used it on — thought I had a good vacuum. Manifold needle looked right. Micron gauge said 1,840. Nowhere near where it needed to be.
Should have got one of these years ago.

Had the same thing happen on a commercial job. sub bailed, inspector failed three items, i had to bring in another crew at my cost. Took it as tuition.

We started posting job pics and short videos on Facebook and Instagram last year. Nothing fancy. Just day-to-day stuff. Didn’t blow up overnight, but now customers say “I’ve been seeing your posts for months.”

Didn’t even touch the unit today.
Spent 40 minutes just figuring out who actually controls it – tenant says one thing, building manager says another, drawings say something else.
By the time that was sorted, the actual problem almost felt secondary.
